Giles County Senior Citizens, Incorporated, founded in 1975, is a 501c3 nonprofit. The Center’s purpose is to serve the senior population of Giles County ages 55 and older. The Center provides FREE services including; Information and Assistance – referring clients to a variety of local agencies; Physical Fitness and Exercise Programming – aerobics and yoga; Educational Programming on a variety of subjects including health, social issues, crafts, technology and art; Nutrition – including lunch daily and Meals on Wheels; Telephone Reassurance Program – calls to those who are home bound or isolated; monthly Grief Counseling and Legal Aid. The Center is open Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The policy of the Center is that all persons should have equal opportunity regardless of race, sex, or religion.
